New Equipment, New Data, New Questions

    #1 – New Equipment

I have recently completed a new laser diffraction test bed that will allow extremely precise control over the characteristics of the longitudinally separated slits in my original 2012 experiments. Using this framework with stepper motors, I can move the edges .025mm per step with the ability to set both axis to parameters of my choosing.

    #2 – New Data

I used the new equipment to show that the asymmetrical diffraction pattern created by the longitudinally separated edges effects the complete pattern in a very distinctive way.

    #3 – New Questions

The previous image shows that the longitudinally separated created an complete asymmetrical pattern in such as way to demonstrate that all photons were redirected to new locations. The gap was consistent in both but bands on both sides of the center displayed a completely different pattern.
